.  Woodbridge Garden Club members, Saundra Saflarske and Jean Gall will teach us all about Dill.  Come learn about and sample a menu using this delightful herb!

Kathleen Gagan of Peony’s Envy, a nursery and display garden in Bernardsville, New Jersey will teach us about these long-lived perennials. 
This program cosponsored by the Woodbridge, Terra Nova and Metuchen Garden Clubs.  Free – Open to the Public

Program: Dizzy for Dahlias”

GC member, Pat Schmitt, will teach us all about Dahlias and how to winter them over.  Free – Open to the Public

12/7 Tuesday- Begins promptly at 6:45 p.m.
Program: “Tastes of the Holidays”
Bring a favorite dish from your heritage to share with the group.
Bring item (TBA) for veterans’ gift bags.

1/4 Tuesday-This meeting will take place at St. Luke’s Parish Hall, 17 Oak Avenue, Metuchen, NJ.  Call WGC president, Angie Heuer, for car pooling.   This is a joint meeting with the Metuchen Garden Club, President, Jeanne Giarratano. 
Program: “Native Plants for NJ Gardens” by Bruce Crawford, Director of Rutgers Gardens, Rutgers University.

Come help make lavender sachets favors for our April Tea Fundraiser.  Bring your scissors.

Program: "Wildflowers: New Jersey Natives"
Mary K. Muckenhoupt will speak on our native plants. 
This program is provided by the Neshanic Garden Club as a public service.  GS Troop 80441 will be working on their National Garden Clubs Native Plants Patch and will extend an invitation to other scouts to come to this program.

5/10 Tuesday-Meeting starts promptly at 6:45 p.m.
Program:  “Easy Care Perennials for your Garden”
by Jeff van Pelt, Supervisor of Horticulture at the Van Der Groot Colonial Park Rose Garden at Colonial Park.  The park has 4,000+ rose bushes, 275 different species, and a beautiful perennial garden.  It is located at 156 Mettlars Road, Somerset, NJ 08873.

Program:  "Butterflies are Free"
by member Belinda Kerchner. 
Come learn about the Black Swallowtail butterfly, its life cycle, its habitat and how to raise them.
